Last Day of the Month I kept thinking was July but is actually September

What happens when no updates happen for a month? Um... A lot.

  • No more thesis til next year - my brain was going mental

  • Wedding stuff happens muchly - we have vows, an MC who has been sort of sorted, suits (mostly), wedding rings, some of a dress, the hairdresser, and the makeup artist person, the flowers and the cake ...

  • In addition to all of this wedding blah, we have somehow managed to be chucked on a plane to fly to USA and Canada for a honeymoon, and to visit some of my relatives... that threw a bit of a spanner in the financial works, but it's sorted now...

  • Still yet to be done are things like finalising the band to play at the reception, which we never thought was ever in the plans but since the parentals went to a wedding with a band and now want one at this wedding... we do the research ... getting the engagement ring modified to fit the wedding band, getting the wedding bands engraved, working out what the MC actually needs to do, wondering what the bridesmaids are going to wear given that I've pretty much told them to wear whatever ... working out what food we're going to pick for the menu at the reception ... that's tomorrow, 1st October, and actually figure out what it is I want done with this mess of hair ...

  • The impending end of work at my current place of employment (Friday 10-11-03) and the end of the first phase of development I was brought in during

  • Then comes the news and confirmation that perhaps it is not quite the end of employment... there may yet be another 20 days left in me!

  • 61 days to go... counting down at a Rantspace near you.

  • You know, these dot points don't seem to make things any shorter

  • Oh yes. There is a bunch of work that needs to be done for my uni subjects, and they are getting done, but not nearly fast enough for my liking ...

  • Exams are looming ... *eeeek!*

Yes... wedding stuff is happening, and the day is getting close enough that there is a bit of excitement floating about ... we're going to cut out 1s and 0s for the wedding cake this weekend, and then the weekend after I get to see what this dress is going to look like at the first non-calico fitting... This semester's exams are doing a good job of freaking me out before they've even started, but that's my fault for not keeping up particularly well ... my brain is resisting the need to study, which is really quite rude of it. But then again it's my brain, what is it doing opposing itself? Hmm...

Shall end here before I talk myself into more of a circle. Square?
