Eeeek! Hecticness!

Quick update ... brain may actually be in a state to do some work... after I get a mug of coffee to kick it into action ... Uni is back, alive, and trying to kick me. We started sending out invitations late last week, and on Monday, we received our first RSVP! (: Um... that's about it. Boring update, hey? Makes you wish that I didn't do an update? (:

Now in Dot Points! And in no readily discernable order!

• Fabric samples for wedding dress came in!
• We have a photographer!
• We have the florist and cake person who also happens to be the mother of the Groom!
• We have a Reception Venue!
• there is no dot point!
• I passed all my subjects for semester 1!

Yes, that last point came through just before I left work ... SMS notification is pretty nice when it's delivering good news (:

Hello and welcome to the beginning of my three weeks of (in)sanity between semesters this year.

I have falling-apart textbooks, full-time work, thesis paraphernalia all over the place, and a large desire to not have to worry about reception venues. I'm sorry, I don't feel like having a cookie-cutter wedding reception with frills everywhere.

My brain feels like it's falling apart, and I really need for it to be working right now ... I don't know how I'm going to get this thesis done *and* deal with wedding crap if it doesn't start thinking anytime soon ...

*sigh* ... at least Work and Decay keep me somewhat sane?
